Speaking of the rich cultural heritage of the state, a three-day Shekhawati Festival is all set to get started in Rajasthan. It will be a great view for travelers who would like to explore the state and its heritage. This event will be organized by the Rajasthan Tourism Department and will be held at Lakshmangarh. The Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, along with the districts of Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur, and Churu, is significantly considered a historical region. The beautiful grand Havelis are the most striking feature of this region. The buildings in this region were constructed sometime between the 18th century and the early 20th century, which is a unique fact about this place.

During this festival, tourists can expect arts, crafts, and sports activities. In a statement, Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore said, “Filled with ancient opulence and breath-taking landscapes, the Shekhawati region will let visitors explore the cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Not only this, but the travelers will also get a chance to sample its food, art, and crafts, the beautiful folk art of Kavi Sammelan, along with serene evenings.

Besides so many other amazing structures, a 300-year-old palace built by Rao Pratap Singh, named the Shahpura Haveli, is a must-visit for all travelers. Seeing these beautiful Havelis and walking into the Shekhawati region feels like entering into a dream. Bhungar Khan and Sarwar Khan, both from the Manganiyar community, are among the well-known artists performing at the three-day Shekhawati festival.
