Delhi Chief Minister announced expanding the team of Health workers for the possible third wave of Covid

A total of 5000 people will be added to the health team preparing for the possible third wave of Covid.

Today, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal said that in order to combat the possible third wave of Covid-19, 5000 additional health workers will be trained. He said the newly trained health workers will be sent to all major hospitals and medical centers where they are expected to be needed.

The Chief Minister of Delhi clearly stated the possibility of the upcoming third wave of Covid-19 by saying that the information is coming from the UK. He said that Delhi needs to stay prepared for the crisis that may them at any time.

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal stated that the chances of the third wave are quite real and necessary medical preparedness is urgently required. Although, many people on social media have questioned the possibility of the third wave and asked why the scientists are so sure that the third wave will affect the children.

Many prominent scientists and medical experts have earlier stated that the third wave will affect children. However, no concrete study was cited on the basis of which these claims were made.

With more and more people showing their mistrust towards vaccines and the government measures in combating the Covid virus, it is quite difficult to find clear information in regards to Covid-19 vaccines and the potential third wave.

The overall data shows that the cases of the Covid-19 have significantly dropped in India and also the vaccination drive in India is also in full swing. There is no such clarity on whether the vaccines can be the cause to create new mutations of the Covid-19 virus.
