Delhi Zoo is all set to open again

With an online ticket system, Delhi Zoo is all set to reopen to the public on March 1

With an online ticket system, Delhi Zoo is all set to reopen to the public on March 1. As the national capital started registering a high number of COVID cases, the zoo had to be shut down on January 5 temporarily. The link used to book tickets online was also disabled on January 4. The news of reopening the zoo was also confirmed by the zoo authorities.

According to the reports, all section supervisors have been advised to ensure that strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols is maintained throughout. Also, they should make sure visitors follow all social distancing norms without fail. Earlier, the zoo was opened on August 1, 2021, to visitors. But it was again shut down because of COVID-led crises in the country.

The National Zoological Park is home to a large number of varied species of reptiles, birds, and mammals, making it a popular attraction in Delhi. All these species live in an environment that resembles their natural habitat in many ways.

Distinctive and gorgeous animals like white tiger, jaguar, gaur, rhinoceros, brow-antlered deer, lion-tailed Macaque, are the highlights of this zoo.

So don’t miss spotting them when here.

How do I book tickets online?

The first step is to visit the official website of the National Zoological Park.

You can opt for the “Buy Tickets” section on the homepage as the next step.

Select your preferred slot and book the tickets with ease as a new page will open and will allow you to easily do this.
