The third wave of the Covid-19 is a much-feared phenomenon that is expected to happen in about 6 weeks’ time. However, there is still not enough data to correctly assess the risk the new variant poses. Some of the experts have already started to announce on Social Media that the new variant will not be as serious as the previous one.

Last week, there were thousands of tourists entered Himachal Pradesh. These tourists were allowed without any restrictions. Last month, the Himachal Pradesh government imposed a strict requirement of carrying the Covid-19 negative report for all tourists. This restriction was canceled and the tourists were allowed without any requirement.

It is highly likely, that there could be more people who might be carrying the new variant as an infection. As of now, there is only 1 official case of the new variant. This 1 case was reported after analyzing over 1100 samples.
