Himachal Pradesh government plans to vaccinate all residents of the state by 25th July

The Chief Minister of Himachal said that there are no shortages of vaccines in the state.

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh announced on Monday that they are currently planning to vaccinate the entire population of the state by 25th July. The Chief Minister also stressed the fact that there is currently no shortage of vaccines in the state.

During the surge of the last Covid wave, there has been a severe shortage of vaccines along with essential medical supplies. Now the second wave is almost gone and the number of new cases has dropped significantly. But the fear of the third wave has been in the news recently with some cases of the Delta-plus variant found in various parts of India.

People are now rushing to get the vaccines as quickly as possible. The Indian government is working hard towards vaccinating a large part of the Indian population as soon as possible.

The state of Himachal Pradesh has started vaccinating people from the ages of 18-45 years old. The vaccination has been done almost free of cost at the government centers and the private hospitals charge a little cost for the vaccines as well.

Many people are still questioning the safety of vaccines due to the increasing number of evidence being shown on social media. Some of the adverse side effects have been reported throughout the world. The surge of the new Covid waves has been closely linked with the vaccination drives in the past.

Some health officials have already warned about the upcoming third wave in the coming month or two. Only time will tell if the vaccines are truly effective against stopping the pandemic.
