After 2 months of the lockdown period, India will be resuming its domestic flight services from Monday, 25th May. The flights will be resumed with the implementation of new rules.

According to some of these rules, the passengers have to use the contact tracing app called ‘Aarogya Setu’. This app is mandatory for all the passengers in order to track the spread of the virus. Along with this, the proper screening will be done for all passengers and will be marked as safe on the contact tracing app. All passengers will have to wear masks and gloves throughout their journey.

The government has told all airport officials to carry out these precautionary measures without any failure. The government is hopeful that this will help the airlines to recover from their economic stress.

The state governments are still formulating their plans of when and how the flights will start. More details will be announced by every state government soon. Sanitization and provision of protective suits will be provided for all airport staff.
