International Tourism is expected to start by October 15

Union Minister of India said that international tourism is expected to start from 15th October.

With the decreasing number of Covid cases in India, the tourist destinations of India are opening up for tourists. Many tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan have relaxed the travel restrictions for the tourists.

The Union Minister of India said that international tourism is most likely to start from 15th October. Many government officials have earlier stated that the international flights are going to get started within this year. The Indian government is also trying to vaccinate as many people as possible as it is a prerequisite before international tourism opens up.

Some international flights have already started and request for charter flights is being reviewed. The Chief Minister of Goa has also said that the Charter flights in Goa will start soon. The vaccination efforts have increased significantly in India. Once the data shows that enough of the population has been vaccinated, restrictions for the tourists will be lifted.
