Khajuraho Dance Festival to start from 20th February

The dance festival has been organized to promote tourism of Madhya Pradesh.

To be inaugurated by Mangubhai C. Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh, the 48th Khajuraho Dance Festival is all set to commence on Feb 20, 2022. The festival will take place at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. Along with the Governor, the festival will also be inaugurated by other dignitaries including Usha Thakur, Tourism, Culture, and Spirituality Minister; Om Prakash Sakhlecha, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Minister; and MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma.

The dates of the festival are February 20 to February 26. It’s a very huge festival and a renowned one as well. At this festival, various dance forms are showcased hence, it is considered one of the most celebrated festivals in India. Many renowned and famous dancers from around the world will be taking part in this festival and will be gathering to celebrate the true essence of varied dance forms.

The awards presented to artists at this festival would be, the National Kalidas Award for dance, and the State Rupankar Kala Reward of Madhya Pradesh.
