Large number of tourists visited Shimla during the festive season

Many other states of India have also seen an increased tourist activity.

The festive season and Diwali celebrations made tourists want to go out for a vacation. For the past few weeks, it has been predicted that the number of tourists traveling during the festive season will increase. All the major destinations of India are currently receiving hundreds of reservations from tourists from all over India.

The health officials are also warning that the possibility of Covid-19 spread has also increased. The safety guidelines for Covid-19 are still in place, but the due to the sheer number of people visiting Shimla creates situations where infections can increase. Also, the flu season has started which further increases the risk of Covid-19 infection.

On the other hand, the businesses associated with the tourism industry are optimistic about reviving their businesses. Due to the lockdown restrictions, the tourism industry suffered huge losses and with the opening of tourist activities, the businesses can now hope to resume their businesses. The footfall of the visitors to Shimla has increased greatly.

Many other states have also seen a tremendous increase in the number of visiting tourists. In the coming weeks, the winter destinations are expected to receive thousands of tourists from all over the world. The international flights have been suspended until 30th November and after that date, international tourism will give the much-needed boost to Indian tourism.
