Lum Nehru Park, Ward’s Lake and Elephant Falls will be opened for tourists from 1st September

Meghalaya is slowly opening up the tourism sites to boost tourism revenue.

The Meghalaya government has made a decision to boost tourism to slowly open all tourist sites. For now, the opening of Elephant Falls, Ward’s Lake, and Lum Nehru park will be opened from 1st September. These sites are very popular among tourists for their natural setting.

Also, these sites are expected to bring in revenue for the tourists. There will be several phases through which all tourism sites will open up eventually. The inter-state travel has also been opened for the tourists and the further easing of the travel restrictions will help bring the businesses back to normal.
