Morocco resumes tourist visa operations for Indians

Morocco visa applicants in India can now submit their applications for all categories

Are you an Indian national wanting to visit Morocco? We have good news for you. Visitor visa operations in India are resumed by the north African nation for Indians. They have also started to accept visa applications for all categories. The announcement was made by the Embassy of the Royal Kingdom of Morocco. The Moroccan border reopened for commercial flights on February 7, 2022.

Morocco visa applicants in India can now submit their applications for all categories, according to VFS Global, an international visa consultant.

Visa Application Centres (VACs) in New Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai are also included in this list.

Due to the rising cases of the Omicron variant in the country, earlier, no visa applications were being accepted. Indian nationals can easily apply for visas now as operations have resumed.

Indian nationals will have to pay INR 2560 along with INR 140, which are the tourism promotional charges.

Entry requirements for Indian nationals

Fully vaccinated Indian nationals are welcomed by Morocco. Their vaccine certificate stating that they were fully vaxxed at least 14 days before arrival must be shown on a mandatory basis.

  1. A “health form” will have to be filled out by all tourists.
  2. A negative RT PCR test report not older than 48 hours must be carried out by people.
  3. Within 48 hours of arrival, another test that may be administered at the hotel or the residence center must be taken by tourists.
  4. Upon arrival in Morocco, temperature checks and random Rapid Antigen Tests (free of cost) will be taken by the travelers.
  5. Unvaccinated Travellers will have to be quarantined for a maximum of 10 days in a hotel approved by the government.
