New Unlock 4.0 updates for Himachal Pradesh announced

The fourth phase of unlocking will end on September 30th.

According to the new fourth phase of unlocking, Himachal Pradesh updated their SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) during the pandemic.

The government of Himachal Pradesh decided to open religious sites for the people. No exact date has been announced so far to open the religious places.

Also, the Inter-State travel through buses will not be allowed. The religious temples in the state of Himachal Pradesh were closed since March of this year, to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The Unlock 4.0 phase will stay in effect until September 30th and required changes will be made as per the changes in the severity of the pandemic situation.

The online register rule will still be applicable and everyone entering the Himachal’s borders will have to register themselves online to get an E-Pass. All tourists entering from High Severity COVID cities will be institutionally quarantined.

Also, the rule to have at least 2 days of hotel booking will also remain in effect. Along with the booking, the tourists will have to carry a COVID negative certificate for the test done at least 96 hours before arrival.

The amendments to these rules will be announced after September 30th after which the fourth phase of unlocking ends.
