New updates for domestic travel in various states of India

Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Odisha announced new updates for tourists.

Domestic tourism has been opened since June 1 and all the museums, monuments, biodiversity parks, and wildlife safaris are opened for the public. The popular monuments of Rajasthan are currently open throughout the week and daily visitors are allowed.

The facilities will be sanitized and visiting hours of these popular attractions have been announced.

Madhya Pradesh

The state of Madhya Pradesh has been allowed by the central government to open their wildlife sanctuaries. The state is popular for its national and wildlife parks. All hotels and homestays are also allowed to open. All national park safaris will have 50% capacity.

All national parks throughout the country will operate at 50% capacity.



Currently trending in Karnataka is ‘Caravan Tourism’ which includes a camper van where a small group or a family can travel around Karnataka and stay inside the camper van.

For all other sites, they have been opened for the tourists with 50% capacity. The popular sites to visit are Gokarna, Coorg, and Hampi.



There are various single and multiple day cruises available for the tourists who wish to take a week-long vacation.

The cruises that can be taken are for Chilika Lake, Mahanadi, Satkosia Gorge, Hirakud Reservoir, Bhitarkanika, and various other coastal destinations. Luxury tours are also available for tourists.

Currently, the government is working towards starting water sports, aquariums, houseboats to attract tourists. As of now tourists from within the country can visit Odisha and travel with the health and safety norms.
