Night curfew in Himachal Pradesh has been lifted due to declining Covid cases

Despite the Omicron scare the domestic tourism activities have continued throughout India.

Recently, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh announced that the imposed night curfew will be lifted and there will be no restrictions on the movement of people during the night. Earlier, this curfew was imposed to contain the spread of the new Omicron variant.

Due to the Omicron scare, several guidelines were changed and restrictions were imposed. However, Omicron has not been as fatal as the second wave of Covid in India. During the Omicron spread, domestic tourism did not stop. More and more travelers were seen visiting all the popular destinations of India.

As per the announcement by the state government officials, all social gatherings will be allowed with only 50% capacity. There will be some minor restrictions regarding Covid-appropriate-behavior at popular tourist destinations. Apart from that, the movement of people can travel with the least amount of restrictions.

Domestic tourism activities are steadily increasing throughout India. Also, International travel restrictions are expected to be lifted if the number of Covid cases continues to decline. The guidelines for international travel have been updated recently.
