Rajasthan is all set to introduce light and sound shows at important tourist places

In order to boost tourism several initiatives have been taken by the Rajasthan tourism department.

A new step towards promoting tourism in Rajasthan is being taken. Now, the spectacular light and sound show will be featured at five popular tourist spots. The inauguration was done by CM Ashok Gehlot at a number of places, including the Jai Niwas garden behind Govind Dev Temple in Jaipur, Chittorgarh Fort, Meera Bai memorial in Nagaur’s Merta town, Machkund in Dholpur, and historic lake of Gadsisar in Jaisalmer via video conference.

During this event, the unique identity of Rajasthan was celebrated by the CM, Mr. Gehlot.

It’s not a new thing that Rajasthan attracts thousands of domestic as well as international tourists who visit the destination to witness its forts, culture, palaces, desert, and wildlife. But the light and sound show will be a cherry on the top for the tourism sector there.

According to him, The tourism sector in Rajasthan plays a very important role in employment generation and it is the means of earning for lakhs of people who are connected to it. He also elaborated on the above plan and mentioned that the state government has created a tourism development fund of INR 500 crore for the development of facilities at tourist places, their conservation, and branding both at the international and national level.

The work to take the tourism of Rajasthan level to next level is in full swing. New circuits are getting developed to promote tribal, religious, wildlife, and desert tourism in the region. Further, this development work is being done at all prominent tourist and religious places in the state.

According to the Union Minister of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal, places, where light and sound shows have been inaugurated, have great importance from a tourism and history perspective. This step will help boost the tourism development in the state.
