Rajasthan relaxes some Covid restrictions

The night curfew will continue from 11 pm until 5 am.

With the declining number of new Covid-19 cases in Goa, the government of Rajasthan has decided to cancel the ban on religious ceremonies and gatherings. This was due to the fact the upcoming festivals require people to conduct religious ceremonies and gatherings.

The state government officials also said that a maximum of 200 people will be allowed in a religious ceremony. And all of the people in the ceremony should have at least one dose of the Covid vaccine administered to them.

In the coming weeks, religious processions, rituals, and celebrations are expected. The major upcoming festivals in India are Durga Pooja, Navratri, Dusshera, and Diwali. All these festivals are some of the most important events in India. Along with the religious gatherings, many social events and ceremonies are also expected to happen in the coming weeks.

As per the official government announcement, the shopping centers and market areas will be open till 10 pm. The popular cattle fairs will also be allowed with limited capacity. The Covid-curfew will remain active in Rajasthan where the movement of people will be banned from 11 pm till 5 am.
