The Pilgrims are flocking to Uttarakhand despite the heavy snowfall

The recent natural disasters in Uttarakhand has already killed many people.

According to the recent news, hundreds of pilgrims are traveling to the state of Uttarakhand to visit the important temples. The pilgrims and devotees of the Hindu faith visit the 4 main shrines in the state of Uttarakhand. This pilgrimage is known as the ‘Char Dham Yatra’.

Every year people visit these temples to offer their prayers to the deities. The weather conditions are currently unfavorable for traveling. Despite snowfall and unfavorable weather in the state, the Char Dham Yatra is continuing in Uttarakhand. The recent natural disasters have claimed many lives due to heavy snowfall, landslides, and flooding.

However, despite the risks, hundreds of tourists have decided to travel to important temples. As part of the religious pilgrimage, many more people are expected to travel to Uttarakhand in the coming weeks. The famous Kedarnath temple is covered in snow as per the recent news.

Preparations have been made in regards to the security of the travelers, their medical conditions and transportation are being monitored carefully. Also, the weather has improved since yesterday, the coming week is quite uncertain as far as the weather is concerned.
