Presently all tourism-related activities are banned in Jibi and Tirthan Valley of Himachal Pradesh due to the pandemic situation. Recently, the Himachal Pradesh government has given a green light to all tourism businesses to run from 5th September.

It was a unanimous decision by all tourism operators to come together and ask the government to allow them to run their businesses. From 5th September, the tourists will be allowed to visit these valleys for vacations.

According to the rule, the visitors will have to book their stay for a minimum of 10 days. This rule is applicable to all hotels, homestays, and lodges. Recently, these accommodations have received many inquiries asking for reservations for their vacations.

All hotels and homestays will have to keep 40% of their accommodation empty to maintain social distancing within the premises. According to the hotel owners, this is good news since they needed a little boost in their stalled businesses due to the lockdown measures.

Tirthan valley is Himachal’s best kept secret and it is a beautiful place to visit. It is located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. This valley is popular for its riverside retreats, the beautiful Serolsar Lake, and hidden waterfalls.
