WHO says that the ‘Covishield’ vaccine doses are being faked in India and Africa

There is no data available if the fake vaccines could have side effects or not.

Yesterday (17th August), World Health Organization issued an alert regarding the ‘Covishield’ vaccine. According to the alert, fake vaccine doses are being distributed in India and Africa. Many people have already raised their concerns over the safety of the Covishield vaccine a few months ago.

The Covishield vaccine is distributed by an Indian company based in Pune. This company is called Serum Institute of India which partnered with Oxford-AstraZeneca to develop the ‘Covishield’ vaccine. WHO said that they have received reports about the fake vaccine shots that were heard in July and August.

The surveillance and monitoring of the vaccine supply are needed mainly in India and Uganda. There is no data as of now about the fake vaccines and if these fake vaccines are safe. Many people on Social Media have raised their concerns about fake vaccines causing serious health issues.
